In the Memory of
Luke J. Drawbaugh
January 24 - March 11, 2011
Loree Drawbaugh is a creative woman with a bold heart, a strong spirit, and a passion for helping others. She is Deaf, proud, and full of purpose. Loree believes that being different is something beautiful, and she uses her life experiences to inspire the people around her.
Loree is also a loving mother. Her family is a very important part of her story, including her children AJ, Jacob, Sophie Ann, and her angel son, Luke. Part of Loree’s journey includes experiencing twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome, a heartbreaking and life-changing part of her family’s story. Through the pain, love, and strength it took to walk through that journey, Loree learned even more about courage, love, and the power of a mother’s heart.
Her love for her family gives her strength, motivation, and a deeper purpose in everything she does. She is also a proud dog mom to Baxter and Maisie, who bring joy and love into her life.
During the school year, Loree teaches American Sign Language to middle and high school students. As a Deaf ASL teacher, she is more than an educator; she is a role model who helps students learn the beauty of ASL, Deaf culture, communication, confidence, and respect for the Deaf community.
In her free time, Loree enjoys being creative, designing new ideas, working on crafts, and spending time with her family. She is a true sun worshipper who loves going to the beach, feeling the ocean air, and enjoying the peaceful beauty of the waves. She also has a huge passion for music and loves listening to songs that bring energy, emotion, and inspiration into her life. Loree enjoys hiking with her family, making memories outdoors, and volunteering whenever she can.
She also loves leopard style, coffee, and creating meaningful pieces that bring joy to others. Her free time often becomes part of her passion because creativity is a big part of who she is.
